Utility Billing

Town Hall Staff works directly with Public Services regarding meter readings and other aspects of Town utilities.

Deposit of $150.00 (Owners), $250.00 (tenants), and $250.00 (commercial) guaranteeing payment of the bill is required.  (Tenants) deposit will be applied to the final bill and (Owners) will be applied to account after 12 continuous and consecutive monthly payments without any late fees or disconnects.

Turn on fee of $30.00 will be charged on the first bill.  Anytime the service is turned on or off (other than courtesy turn on/off or final bill) there will be an additional $30.00 charge.


Potable Water:
Minimum bill $26.62 per month for first 5,000 gallons or less;
  $2.11 per 1,000 gal for 5,001 - 9,000 gallons
  $2.33 per 1,000 gal for 9,001 - 14,000 gallons
  $2.52 per 1,000 gal 14,001 - 20,000 gallons
  $3.56 per 1,000 gal for 20,001 - 30,000 gallons
  $10.28 per 1,000 gal for 30,001 - 60,000 gallons 
  $13.45 per 1,000 gal for 60,001 gallons & over
  There will be a utility tax of 10%.

Irrigation - Residential
Monthly base charge $26.62 per customer;
$2.06 per 1,000 gal for 5,001 - 30,000 gallons
$2.27 per 1,000 gal for 30,001 - 60,000 gallons
$3.47 per 1,000 gal for 60,001 and over gallons.

Irrigation - Commercial & HOA
Monthly base charge $25.97 per customer;
$2.11 per 1,000 gal for 1,000 - 30,000 gallons
$2.33 per 1,000 gal for 30,00 - 60,000 gallons
$3.56 per 1,000 gal for 60,001 and over 


Fee: A Water Availability Fee of $14.23 will be charged monthly for any inactive account along with a Water Plant Expansion Fee of $10.00.

Water Plant Expansion Fee will be assessed to every account in the amount of $10.00 each month.


On or before the 15th of each month regardless what day it falls on.  Payments may be mailed, scheduled through automated system or brought to Town Hall Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. or placed in the drop box by the front door.


A 10% penalty will be assessed on payments received after the 15th of the month.


Accounts that are allowed to become delinquent will be disconnected for nonpayment.  Any account shut off for nonpayment will be charged a $50.00 reconnection fee during Public Services regular business hours (8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) and $100.00 reconnection fee after business hours (after 3:05 p.m.).  If an account is disconnected for nonpayment a full deposit is required on the account.


After-hour on/off fee of $100.00 is charged for utility service fee is as follows:

  • 3:00 p.m. through 7:00 a.m. on Monday - Friday                  
  • 3:00 p.m. Friday through 7:00 a.m. Monday


  • Irrigation is prohibited between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.


  • Odd numbered addresses – Saturday
  • Even numbered addresses or no address – Sunday


  • Odd numbered addresses – Saturday and Wednesday
  • Even numbered addresses or no address – Sun & Thurs

 Curbside garbage collection is each Monday and Thursday morning.  The charge for Residential garbage pickup is $23.25 (Commercial is $29.00) and is included on water bill.  Please have your garbage and recycling curbside by 6:00 am.  Curbside recycling is each Wednesday morning.  Yard waste will be on Mondays.

WCA provides a 72-hour pickup, which allows you to dispose of large items such as furniture and appliances.  To schedule a 72-hour pickup, please call (800) 535-9533 and WCA will be happy to assist you.  There may be a charge for the 72-hour pickup with WCA.
